Bra/Bug Deflector?

I just got the Aeroskin II delivered yesterday. It looks exactly like my above pics. Its held with 3M molding tape and it does fit snug to the body line very well with a hump in the center as pictured. I held it up to the hood to check. I will most likely install it Monday when I have some spare time.

Is it rigid or soft plyable like?

Yeah, I want an actual rigid bug shield/deflector. I had a flame red paint matching one for my ‘08 JK and loved it. I went through 4 windshields before I installed it and never had to replace a windshield after it. Here’s the sad final picture of it, but you can see the bug shield was quite nice...lol.

Its hard plastic so I guess rigid...tapes down to your hood. I think the Mopar one looks like a seat cushion. This AVS one is a formed plastic.

The Aeroskin II is advertised in matte and textured. Drives you crazy making sure you get the right one. The part number for the one I have is AVS 436148 from CARiD.

It should be textured black. CJ Pony parts has them also.

Was it a rock/pebble? If so, I guess this is only helpful as a bug deflector?

it all depends on what you ordered it seems like. soft tops are very slow. 44's? very slow too. i've been in shipping longer than any other stage combined lol. mine is just a bare sport w/44 and soft top etc
