Bluetooth not connecting

The wife and I got two new phones, Samsung S-26's, both paired perfedtly in our 27 Tahoe, but in the 2021 JL they can connect to bluetooth through the Jeep, but both phones disonnect after a few seconds. I took the Jeep and phones to the T-mobile store and the CSR said that the phones are working perfectly. We could both pair our old Androeds to the Jeep and Tahoe no problem, anyone got any ideas?

I'd suspect the 21 head unit is not compatible with the newer Bluetooth firmware if I had to guess. I've got similar issues using my Pixel 10 in a 2021 JT where it disconnects randomly but works fine in my 24 JLU.

I 'solved' the issue by using a wireless Android Auto dongle (AAWireless) but it didn't play well just connecting using Bluetooth for normal phone functions.
