Wifey has a 2023 JLU that she worries an fusses over like a young mother with her firstborn.

Today’s issue: when she is playing her music in the jeep stereo through Bluetooth, the music sometimes cuts in and out for a few seconds.

To me, no big frikkin deal. So you have one or two seconds of skip. To her, she wants to drop $179 for the stealership to just look at and diagnose.

We have deleted and reinstalled her phone to the stereo.

Please help me save my sanity and almost $200 for what I feel is a petty issue or educate me about this issue and hopefully help me fix this problem at home.

Thanks in advance!

Is she Using Android auto or CarPlay? If so I would not pair the jeep to the phone and only use AA or CarPlay. I use a wireless adapter @Rhinebeck01 can help point you in the right direction probably

Any other bluetooth devices around? My dash camera was interfering with my CarPlay. See if you can shut off the bluetooth/wifi on all other devices in the Jeep.

I had the same problem with my 2025 Rubicon. I simply used the USB cable and connected my iPhone directly and there was no skipping. Then during one of the uconnect over the air updates it evidently was resolved so now there is no skipping with Bluetooth. I would call uconnect directly. The dealer has zero percent chance of solving the issue

You're still under warranty, right?
Offfffffff course not. Stealership says it expired LAST MONTH! And the “extended warranty” doesn’t cover this issue.

Gawd I am really starting to regret getting her this thing!
