Uconnect radio & bluetooth skipping

It plays for a couple seconds and skips for a second or 2. I tried 2 things that I’ve seen online
1st one i seen on this forums - resetting the system

2nd one was a software update where you download the software onto a usb and install it from there

both did not work and i cant find any other solutions

any help is appreciated
