Block Heater Cord Options

I ordered the block heater with my new 3.0. I am not a big fan of opening the hood each time I want to plug it in. For those that have the block heater, what have you done to avoid this problem? Pictures would be appreciated.

Got the NOCO GCP1E 6ft, wasn't about to drill a 2 in hole so just zip tied it behind the bumper.
Make sure to put some dielectric grease on it and tape up the connection in the bay(at least thats what I did).

Last time I used it, I just hung it out the front and closed the hood. Didn't seem to be a problem and it did not mar the finish...
