The ones with a forward cam are usually placed on the end on the mirror which means your front cam isn’t recording at the optimal angle.

The only downside I can see with this one is that it doesn't have a forward looking camera. So no dashcam capability. But still, I like a lot about it.
It has a forward cam, also comes with a cam which runs to the rear of the Jeep for a reverse cam.

it's not that far off-center that it makes a difference.

Bumping this thread to get the voice of the community here. I’ve seen the Wolfbox thread and while it looks pretty damn good, I feel like I want a 4k rear camera and I have the Advanced Safety Group so the mounting issues concern me a bit.

Anyone tried other review mirror Cameras that they would recommend … either for or against?

Depends on your priorities. If for some reason a full view of the front is required then a rearview mirror cam that fits in the original location probably isn't a good match.

I'm in the process of installing the Autovox T9Pro. While it's not a 4K cam on either end, it does have a separate front camera that you can mount wherever you like. It also keeps all of the wiring hidden as it exits the back of the mirror in the center and runs right up the mounting arm into the ACC box so it's practically invisible. I thought it was small enough that it was going to completely clear the driver's visor but it does still hit it. I rarely use my visor so hopefully it's not going to be a big issue.

My only other gripe with the specs of it are that as far as I'm aware you have to remove the SD card to view transfer or view the recordings on a computer as it doesn't appear to have any sort of wireless connection like some others. As mine is mostly just intended to be for security/accident liability and the rearview mirror cam, I don't expect to need access to it often enough that it will matter.

There is another member here that already installed the T9Pro and he said he's been very happy with it.
