You're going on 6 months with this bumper. Still like it? I am looking for a replacement on my 80th Anniversary stock plastic bumper.
Jeep is summer use only at the cottage so it is in storage up there for the winter. Very happy with the bumper so far. I did make back covers for the fog lights when I installed it. It was a good price and was a good fit. Good quality on construction. Ran wiring through holes I drilled in bumper. easy fit for warn winch.

Very cool. I like the wiring ideas as well. The style of the bumper is exactly what I want for my JL. I was a little apprehensive since I haven't seen it posted as much as some others at this price point. I appreciate the confidence. One other question. To the best of your memory, how aggressive is the bull bar angle pitched to the front? It's hard to tell from some of the manf pics.

What did you end up going with? I like my stock Rubi steel bumpers. All I added was a Warn mini stinger to protect the winch. I would have suggested you grab a take-off front steel bumper for under $200, but you already had them. LOL
Any advice for a noob on where to look for good take-off deals? I have seen a couple Rubi steel bumpers in the member marketplace for $700+. Craigslist? Facebook?

All the above. You have to check often and be in the right place at the right time. Listed this Monday, a member on this forum was selling front and rear take-offs for $250, a metal skid and tow hitch for $100 more. It sold immediately. Trying to find locally will be a bit harder. Some member will ship at your dime, just figure in that cost and consider if its worth it. Still a good deal in the one listed if shipping ended up being @$150. Just my opinion.

see attached picture from the side... Its basically straight up it was a issue for me as it can't be forward of bumper or it will hit the garage door in storage

+1 on this.

Avoid the rear bumper, it's not great. I've been quite happy with the front bumper though. I like having the winch mounted low, between the frame, safer from UV light, and theft. My only complaint is the hooks vs a more secure D-ring mount.
