I went with antennaX 24 inch, IMO 13 inch is a little bit too short.

I have two of these antennas if anyone wants them. Neither would stay tight, coming loose from road vibration always wobbling back and forth in the screw hole.

Having issues when going through car washes as the stock antenna gets whipped around. Is there a replacement antenna that is shorter but delivers same or better reception?

I grabbed this Ronin 4" one and it works great. No noticeable difference in reception at all and nice quality:

I've the 13" on mine, Antenna X. Looks good and no issues with washes too but as couple of posts suggested, there's definitely some loss of reception I noticed on few channels which worked just fine with the factory ones so I'll be switching to a longer one, like 15" or more.

Has anyone measured the actual length of the OEM antenna? I removed mine for a car wash and can’t find it. I don’t like the stubby ones. In a perfect world I’d want one 1” taller than the roof for parking garages where the clearance is a close call.

I have measured and found the factory height is 35" That is the optimum length for FM reception for the Wrangler I guess. Looking now to confirm... Yup
