Beefy Tires

I have a 2021 Willys. I am looking into 33" on the factory wheel and no lift.(cannot get it in the garage with a lift). Most tires I've seen are skinny in appearance. I want something that looks beefy in a 33", but, good for my daily driver. I do about 600 miles a month. Any recommendations? I am located in the hot state of Florida near Ocala National Forest. ( I ride there a lot).

Your best and/or easiest option would be to find tires or tires and wheels off of a Rubicon. Those tires will be in the 33" range and will be wider, and will work on your stock 7" wide rims. (The Willys has 17" wheels doesn't it?) My sport came with 245 width tires, the Rubicon tires are 285(275?) width. I don't know if there are options to go wider without getting taller as well.

However you might take the measurements and see- if you add 35" tires you only add 1" of height to the Jeep. If you aren't flexing the suspension a lot I think they would fit under the fenders.

Stock Rubicon tires are 285/70R17 (33"). Get a set of BF Goodrich K02s in that size and put them on your Willys wheels and they'll look great (they drive well too). That's the setup on my Sahara 4xe - pics below. Good luck.

BFG KO2'S. 285/70/17. Stock on my Rubicon. Beefy. I sold them and the wheels and bought BFG KO2 35's.

You could go with a 305/65R17. They are 32.6” tall. People put 35/12.50s and 315/70R17s on factory wheels, so they should fit. No need for a lift as they are only .6” taller which means hardly any difference in your ride height.

it’s essentially a 33/12.50/17. Just slightly narrower.

Back in March I pulled the Firestone Destination M/T tires (255/75R17) that came with my new Willys and replaced them with a full new set of Toyo Open Country ATIII (285/75R17) and I like how they look and perform.

Tear down your garage and rebuild with bigger doors. I cant see another option here.

If your after an aggressive sidewall design and tread pattern, you can go with a set of Micky Thompson Baja Boss M/T in a 33”

285/75r17 or 295/70r17s.

I went with 295/70r17s ridge grapplers and they worked well for two weeks it was at stock height. Definitely a little wider.

I went with General Grabbers in 33" for my unlifted 80th Edition. They filled up the wheel wells w/o rubbing and look good.

I've been very happy with my Yokohama G003 MT. I had them in 35x12.5 on my JL for the last 30,000 miles, still have plenty of life left in them and they aren't excessively loud. They look great, the sidewall is very aggressive and they definitely give the Jeep an aggressive appearance.
