After going to multiple different auto parts stores, I finally had to go to Walmart to get them to test the battery. Final voltage was 12.51 with a CCA of only 486. So its replaced now with a new Everstart 4yr battery.
Let us know it it cures the issues you're having.

Getting this dealer to do anything is worse than trying to pull teeth from a great white. I dont trust those guys for anything. Im still under the impression they never really changed the outlet hose on my coolant tank.

How long does the dealer warranty their batteries for? I thought I read somewhere they are 1 yr batteries? Maybe I misread.
On my Ram it was24 months. Mine went out after 28 months. My 2020 Ram still going. So you never know

I ran into oddball issues with my 12v battery a little while back. I hadn't realized that a swing of just .3 volts can be the major difference between starting or not. I have a 4xe and even when the HV battery is 100%, we still need the 12v to start the vehicle.

One thing I learned and to keep in mind, is that the alternators of today don't "charge" the battery like the older vehicles. When I was coming up, the trick to keeping your car battery topped off was to run the engine for a bit. There is a post around here somewhere, where someone went into some pretty good detail about it - I think it basically boiled down to the alternators today simply don't put out the amps like older cars. There was another around here that showed that eventually, the alternator can top off a battery, but you are talking of hours of driving.

I even tried using a trickle charger on my Jeep and that was another learning opportunity; those 2AMP chargers just don't do enough either. As someone else mentioned, there is a parasitic power draw on the Jeep's - you really need a 10AMP charger if you really want to top off your 12v battery.

I'd like to use JScan. It's downloaded to my phone, and I've this 12+8 cable and this scanner saved in my Amazon cart. Are those two pieces of hardware, in conjunction with the JScan app, all I need to get rolling?

I already have this basic scanner in my Parts Box. Could I use that one, or would I have to purchase the more expensive one linked in the preceding paragraph?

Thanks.
Those should work. Unsure on the one you have currently. I use the LX model from OBDLink. Seems to work fine. So far I have only used it to update tire size to correct speedo and, activate the Homelink buttons when I swapped the sun visor.
