I just purchased a new 2024 Rubicon X. I had a 2019 Rubicon with the Ace Engineering sliders and loved them but the price has double since then. I was looking at the barricade ones for 1/3 the price. I am not a rock crawler just some dirty roads and light trails so they are more for looks. I want to keep the stock rails as well. Has anyone ever had both or seen both in person to compare. Just having trouble justifying the extra money.

I've used some barricade parts in the past, most recently I had Barricade flat steel fenders on my jeep. Had them on previously for 2 years and they never rusted. coating/finish and fit seemed pretty good.

White Knuckle Offroad has a really good set of rock slides. As a third option. https://white-knuckleoffroad.com/product/jeep-wrangler-jl-4door-unlimited/ . A bit pricey but well built.

I had ace on my 2009 JK. I purchased the GOAT to put on the JL. They have top notch construction and I have no complaints.

You can order them for fitment with or without the rubi rails
You can order them to fit with or without rubicon rails or with a body lift or with out. They can be ordered with dimple plating. They also can be ordered angle up or straight out for a step.

Jeep Wrangler JL Barricade VS Ace Engineering Rock sliders 54EC5F2C-09FF-4B38-AEA4-770EAD057B17
Had two sets of the Barricade tubular sliders. First on my 2023 JLURD and again on my 2024 392. Did Fins n Things and Top of the World without any issues or contact. Fitment was perfect and zero issues installing at home. Not saying they’re better than any other brands but for $370 shipped? Shrug.

I lolled when the ACE Gladiator bed extender went from like $400 to $1200. I am sure those are selling like hotcakes now....
