I'll take a better look @ the bumper this evening after work to see what my options are for trying to get it out a little further. Not the best idea, adjusting the bumper would be my choice, slotting mounting holes on either the bumper, or winch mounting would be my choice. This will take some heavy duty power tools to do this.
How’d you do this?If the rope is touching and the grille is fastened firmly , you could shim the bumper forward . You can also run the cable out of the side of the cover
drilled and ran the cable through a 3/4 rubber grommetHow’d you do this?
Just a note if you decide to use the DV8 spacers. They push it out 2", but if there are any secondary brackets used to install the bumper (winch plate or bar support as on my RR) it may make those brackets not fit.Yeah
I'm OK with 3/4" at the most.. Which spacers did you get?+1 for spacers. Same thing happened with my aftermarket bumper and winch. Added in a 3/4" spacer on each side and all is good now.
They came with the bumper. RockHard 4x4.I'm OK with 3/4" at the most.. Which spacers did you get?

How did you remove the clutch handle to cut it down?If the rope is touching and the grille is fastened firmly , you could shim the bumper forward . You can also run the cable out of the side of the cover
It has a set screw on the side of the handleHow did you remove the clutch handle to cut it down?
I took out the set screw and pulled up pretty hard and it wouldn't come out. I tried turning it while pulling up at different points but it didn't come up at all. Did you use a pry bar?It has a set screw on the side of the handle
