Still in inspection here.Anyone get out of inspection prison yet?
2 weeks for me. Still nothin.
How long were you in I status? My dealer called the rep who confirmed that mine is stuck in “I” and that they probably won’t get to it for a while since they are still fixing some 18s that are in “I” status. They’re probably going to clone my order as a result.
Something is not right. I talked to my dealer today, he said he has had a few stuck stuck inI that ended up moving and that something was up with how slow the system is updating. This coincides with some of the other reports of peoples order just landing at the dealers. He asked me to call Friday and they’ll run it up the chain and either order again or see what is going on.Day 16. Still "inspecting". This sucks.
It's like we won a really crappy lottery. The Jeep before and after ours is moving towards it's new owner while ours are all sitting in a lot somewhere until they can make time for it. Wonder how big the backlog is?
I'll give them until saturday which will be 3 weeks of inspection. Then I'll see if my dealer can get involved.
Keep us posted if you hear anything.Something is not right. Every few days I check in with Jeep Chat, they've said the exact same thing with different reps claiming my Jeep was selected for additional inspections and it takes 2 weeks. I find this hard to believe but if true that is cool.Keep us posted if you hear anything.
I was told the same thing....but I was also told it could take longer than 2 weeks......Every few days I check in with Jeep Chat, they've said the exact same thing with different reps claiming my Jeep was selected for additional inspections and it takes 2 weeks. Of course! FCA needs to at least throw a little reach around. There have been Jeeps delivered that have the exact same configuration as mine but ordered a month and a half later. But hey, we have Super Dooper Inspection because Jeep takes QA that seriously so we have that going for us. :cwl:I was told the same thing....but I was also told it could take longer than 2 weeks......
Well, my dealer doesn’t want to clone mine since they don’t want to end up with an extra unit when the one in “I” eventually ships. I thought that I read somewhere that FCA will automatically clone the order if it sits in inspection for 30 days. Is that true?My dealer called the rep who confirmed that mine is stuck in “I” and that they probably won’t get to it for a while since they are still fixing some 18s that are in “I” status. So the dealer can't cancel their own order? That is a bit silly.Well, my dealer doesn’t want to clone mine since they don’t want to end up with an extra unit when the one in “I” eventually ships. That’s happened to a couple members here. Don’t know if it’s normal or not. It may need to actually fail inspection not just wait but I don’t know.Well, my dealer doesn’t want to clone mine since they don’t want to end up with an extra unit when the one in “I” eventually ships.
