That is a great site! Thanks!

So you have 2 batteries after all... sounds like a few of us already told you that? Before covid and the 392s EVERY JL came from the factory with 2 batteries. Either the 12 v main plus the 12v aux you were looking for or etorque with the 12v main AND the big 48v battery underneath. Pics were posted. All it would have taken was 5 seconds to look under the Jeep...or we go back and forth for days. Finally run the vin and holy hell it's etorque. Good news is your entire charging system is covered under the emissions warranty of 8 years and 80k miles. If it's eating through main batteries I'd tell your dealer there's a problem with the etorque and they need to fix it period.

Sounds like you have etorque. There should be a ·larger battery underneath the Jeep in the back
...etorque battery...

2019 2.0t should have etorque, ours did.
They were either etorque or had both 12v batteries until supply chain bs post covid.
On a 2019 2.0t I'm almost certain it came with etorque so there are in fact 2 batteries... ...Literally takes 5 seconds to look underneath. If there is a skid plate on the drivers side behind the transfer case you have etorque.
Well my bet it does not have an alternator and it’s a etorque.
I’m a doubter about the lack of a 48 volt battery under the OPs Jeep until I see photographic forensic evidence 🤷

Thanx for your help and insights. Learning experience for me.

I know I can be a little rough, but several people asked specifically and/or told you that your 2019 2.0t should have etorque and therefore won't have an aux battery. All 2018 and 2019 JLs had 2 batteries period. The 3.6s had the 12v aux and the 2.0ts had etorque. None of the etorque models will have the aux (if they did they'd have 3 batteries) even after Jeep switched it up and started putting etorque on the 3.6s instead of the 2.0ts. Since then it is a crap shoot and I understand the confusion as people start posting about their buddies cousin who has a JL with only 1 battery. As far as I can tell EVERY 2.0t has 2 batteries as they are either etorque or had the aux. Every 392 only has 1. I've yet to see a diesel that doesn't have 2x12v. I haven't even seen a v6 without the aux but I do believe some of those got built. That's the best I can do to summarize the battery shenanigans in the JL...oh and obviously the 4xe has a 12v and the high voltage pack under the rear seat.

We don’t know what we don’t know. Which means I know a lot less than I think I do. Learning occurred for both of us.
