Yes, all you have to do is gently pry the center Willy’s emblem out. The auto shifter emblem is 39mm. I replaced mine with a Veteran Coin. Used doubled sided tape and it fits in perfectly!!

Carefully pry insert out from bottom center, it will lift out, no adhesive used.
Use some 3m auto grade double sided adhesive tape
Insert new coin/emblem...

This is advertised as being for the automatic, so I found their install video, which is *super* detailed. Specifically, it looks like they replace the squeeze trigger with a mechanism whereby you push down on the knob to allow the shifter to move.
*Note: depending on whether you have kids, dogs, or are careless in your vehicle, this has the potential to be much more dangerous than the squeeze trigger. However, it does look like a nice solution otherwise, and I was pleased to see that the price isn't too bad, either.

My Belgian Malinoius, loved the leather on both shifters, anyone knows where can I buy the plastic inserts that hold the leather to the base of the shifters ?
I can get local upholstery but need to secure it to the base
