Is there anything on your dash? The sensor that turns on the auto headlights is the little dome on the left side of the cubby. If it is covered it will register as being night time.

I have duckies in the center but they have been there. This all started after an update. I'm feeling so alone in this problem.

Nope. Jeeps clean, nothings blocked. Nothings changed except my jeeps choice to annoy me.

It could be a faulty light sensor.

Could be a partially failed update, take it back to the dealer and have them perform the update again and maybe a reset of the BCM.

Even at the highest sensitivity I have never had lights turn on during the day if there is sunshine. I have had the turn on if the skies are severely overcast and under tree cover. There is also a setting to adjust the sensitivity.

Well, my '21 made me a liar, the sensor sensitivity setting is no longer there. I know it used to exist, my '18 had it as I adjusted it. Sorry for the false alarm and that you are eating alone.
