AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCKING

I have a 2020 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and it does not auto lock when I am a certain distance from the vehicle. I would certainly like that feature as a couple of times now I have forgotten to lock it and some criminal has rifled through the vehicle and stolen things.

You didn't learn after the first time??? A real criminal would have stolen your Jeep, not simply rifled through it.

Jeep do it only right way to prevent unwanted lock. It opens when you grab the handle not when you near, and you close it when you push the button on the handle. Period.9

Thank god and Z-automotive for the Tazer. I had a similar problem prior to it with my junk slamming the panic button.

Gee, that doesn’t make sense. Are you suggesting @Wabujitsu didn’t mean keys, change, pocket knife etc “Junk” was slamming his fob. Hmmm - or did he mean he was pocket slamming His “Fob” and hitting the keyfob with it?

I’m more boned about the “Nanny-Honk” when I pick my kid up from daycare and forget to leave my fob in the “cup holder groove”. There are things I can deal with, and things I can’t. Locking and unlocking doors on my own terms is peaches and gravy. The aroma of glycol when I walk in front of my truck? Yes. My rig “Cat-Calling” me? Not so much…

...and, while we are at it, why don't we have auto-up on our power windows, only auto-down?

Ridiculous they dont have it. I have installed the 'Tury Pro from LeemanUpfit on my 2024 and 2026 Jeeps. It is so nice to have and would only cost them a few dollars verses the time and expense to upgrade to the Tury Pro. Still worth it however.

No sir, there was no additional charge for those. There was an additional fee for paint, A/C, automatic transmission, the hard top of course, and a shipping fee. I don't know why I had to pay a shipping fee. I didn't order it or have it shipped anywhere, it was sitting on their lot.

Somehow, you just don't get it. If it worked like many others do, when you get out of range, the doors lock and when you get close again, they unlock again. Very convenient.
