They must have strict standards on where the plate is located. Wouldn't that have a significant impact on departure angle?
I found some part numbers for you in your other post. Thanks! Did post my question as requested.
Note the rubi pictured has standard height front wheel flares. I guess aussies have strict standards.
Wha? Took your guns! I thought guns were a requirement out in the outback. Understood about the move to the states... though anywhere outside of Texas could be not what you would call home. Can't go bigger than 35's either, and then they took my guns so I moved Stateside LOL!!
If your rear diff hits rock then the question is moot... but maybe a good chunk of rock will be excavated to allow for Aussie bumper clearance. Ha!Talk about low hanging fruit...That sucker better have a hell of a skid plate!

Actually the lowest point on the bumper is higher than the muffler bottom.
You've never dropped off a ledge and hit your bumper? That's what departure angle is all about. Nothing to do with you rear diff.If your rear diff hits rock then the question is moot... but maybe a good chunk of rock will be excavated to allow for Aussie bumper clearance. Ha!
