Audio system issue - cutting in and out

So, I had the same recurring issue last week, and have asked the dealer and FCA to replace the camera.....is yours still OK with the camera replacement?
Yes, I have not had any issues since Jan 17th when they replaced the camera.

The corporate engineer came and did nothing. Absolutely nothing. Still thankful for the Technician at the dealership though who is troubleshooting this with me as if it were his own vehicle. I like him.
1. Software Version verified. Check - Still has the issue
2. New Radio. Check - Still has the issue
3. New Auxiliary Battery - Check - Still has the issue
4. New Amplifier Installed - Check - Too soon to tell but again, I'm hopeful.

@JeepCares , corporate engineers are useless. I really expected at minimum a phone call from that person. Tsk Tsk Tsk. Oh, and BTW @JeepCares , the rental JL Wrangler Sport I was driving while the amplifier was installed, kept turning off the option for back-up camera guidelines even as I sat turning it back on and back on and back on. I sent a video to my favorite technician just to amuse him but come on Jeep, get quality control with the integrated systems under control!

my radio started the audio in and out now, already went in for service because the radio didn't turn off one day after the jeep was turned off, then the radio wouldn't turn on, then the lines disappeared on my back up cam, brought it to the dealer and they found "nothing" wrong of course, ran test and could not mimic any of the problems, and yes I have video of each problem....so now the audio cutting in and out..and the best part about that is that it brought to my attention that my brakes now squeak when it rains out.. and every time I pull out of my driveway even when it doesn't rain.. pretty damn embarrassing for a 50,000 plus jeep rubicon...I traded in a perfectly good 2016 jku sport with 0 problems, this was supposed to be a retirement gift to myself and it seems to be nothing but stress, what's so fun about worrying what's going to happen next?? and having no faith on any type support from the dealership or FCA...... @JeepCares

it's not the fact that the jeep has issues that bothers me, it's the complete lack of support addressing them at the dealership that makes me dislike the brand.

I've been having the brake squeaking issue too. Is that a known issue as well as the Uconnect?

I've been having the brake squeaking issue too. Is that a known issue as well as the Uconnect?
I've seen a few post about squeaking brakes on the new jeeps, not sure if its common or not? just checked mine and drove for a while and it wasn't going away...but I'm sure it will during the drive to the dealership.... @JeepCares

I just heard from my dealer, FCA field service person authorized replacement of my backup camera, just waiting for it to come into the dealer. Hope this will do the trick.

So two days ago, my Jeep Wave contact called me and told me a new radio was being shipped out on March 13th and should be at the dealer around March 15-18. I asked her if it was the same part number as now or different. She did not know. Yesterday, she called again and said the STAR engineers have found an 'Alternate' part for my vehicle and it should be shipped in the next couple days. I am guessing the 'alternate' part is the new radios we have been reading about.

Jeep radio did the in and out thing this am again. Had been on a good streak. Not sure if the backup lines were there or not....

Just an Update. My radio has been working without issues since they replaced my backup camera on January 17th.
I wonder if just disconnecting (unplugging) the camera would have an effect?

I might try this... has anyone else had any updates?

I don’t know. Second day in a row for me after about a month of the radio working. No. Back up lines again. Also no new info from Jeep either

New radio. Check
New auxiliary battery. Check
New amplifier. Check
HOURS in the double digits away from work. Check

Problem still exists.

NEW ISSUES:
Remote start: got into vehicle and pressed the start button. Nothing happened. Had to turn off the running/unstarted vehicle with the key fob and start it manually. Same driving session, vehicle would then NOT shut off by pressing the button. Had to shut off with the key fob.
Back up guidelines disappear while not experiencing the audio issue
Rear window on order (back order) due to rear defrost not working.
Passenger seat recline sometimes doesn't catch.

@JeepCares , I'm not sure I even want this Jeep anymore. My 12 year old Kia Sorento had fewer problems. AND IT WAS PAID FOR.

New backup camera will be installed this coming Monday March 18th.
New backup camera was installed this morning, 3/18. We shall see if this does the trick. Dealer service department has been great to work with, also the FCA guy at corporate.
