Had the camera replaced on 2/10 - lots of weather changes and no issues. I have even been leaving the jeep out of the garage and no issues. Thanks to Bill Deluca Jeep and Phil Sachetta for getting the problem fixed!
That makes me so happy to hear! Please feel free to reach out if you ever need anything else.

Has this been fixed yet? The audio in my Rubicon is cutting in and out making the whole vehicle pretty much worthless IMO...

I had my back up camera replaced about 3-4 months ago and everything has been fine since. I believe there is a service bulletin for this issue now. Many others on this thread have had cameras replaced as well and it seemed to fix the issues.

I just went to the dealer and apparently this is a known issue now, I have it scheduled to go in for repair on Tuesday.. hope this fixes it..

I had my backup camera replaced 4 months ago and haven’t had any issues since. No out of pocket expense for me. It had been having cutting out periods once every week or so prior to that. So frustrating but good now!

I had my 2020 Rubicon in for service two days ago. My audio system hadn’t cut in and out in several months so I didn’t mention it. The advisor said there was a recall on the system and did a computer reset.

The dealership went through a number of steps including a software update. Which didn’t stop the cutting out for my Jeep. Also, the cutting in and out went away on its own in the warm weather months and then returned again in the late fall last year for me when it got colder. (A lot of theories on this thread about that one). Anyways, the camera replacement has been the only sure fire way to fix for this that I’ve heard of so far.

Still an ongoing issue - already had the radio unit replaced, worked for about 2 months and now it's cuts out again about every 5 secs for about 2 seconds. The fixes seem to be with backup camera's but I don't have one. I also don't have a hard top. Any other fixes found?

I thought all JL’s come with a backup camera standard?

After the dealership reprogrammed the radio, replaced the radio, replaced the wire harness, and replaced the satellite antennae, the problem with the radio cutting out continued. I then researched the antennae myself and noticed it was under the Mopar factory roof rack. I moved the rack back 2 inches and it solved the problem. Glad the mechanic work was covered under warranty.
