Looking forward to hearing what they come up with. Mine does it intermittently now, and it never happens when I can get to the dealer. Very frustrating. It did it again last night after 2 weeks, and this morning.. gee , it is working again..At the dealership right now, they said that my Jeep has some codes pop up. I will post them as soon as I get a copy of them.
Yeah, I don't know what to do at this point. Not getting any help from anywhere. Dealership can't solve my issue, I've spoken to Jeep reps, I have a STAR case open... don't know what else to do. I don't understand how its acceptable to just let your customers drive around with a faulty system like this. Keep checking back at these forums to see if anyone had a fix that worked...Looking forward to hearing what they come up with. You keep taking it in to have them look at it and try. Look up your lemon law rules for your state. https://www.carlemon.com/state-lemon-law-statutes/connecticut-lemon-law-rights-consumer-guide.html It has been warm here, and it doesn't happen as much when warm.Yeah, I don't know what to do at this point. Well right now the dealership and Jeep seem to be playing a stalling game with me. The solution from the dealership was to switch out the radio, which I said fine, need to go through the motions otherwise I don't have a case against them... the only problem is the radio ETA keeps getting pushed back. It was ordered a month ago! They initially told me 1-2 weeks, then I had to personally call Jeep and see what the delay was. They escalated my case and told me I would have the part by this Monday. I got a voicemail yesterday from the rep telling me the ETA changed to the 25th! I called back to get some answers but no one picked up or has yet to get back to me. I feel like they are purposely stalling or this issue is so bad nationwide that new radios are being sent everywhere and they really are backordered. Who knows... but very frustrating indeed. You keep taking it in to have them look at it and try. Funny you say 24 degrees, because that is exactly the temp I've been noticing cuts out on me. I've been making little videos on my phone every time it happens, and 99% of the time it is when it is 24 and slightly below. But I know many have had the issue with warm temps too, so who knows. Although it is quite strange most of the problems on these forums started happening late fall/ early winter.Add me to the list, in Michigan. It's usually around 24 degrees when it happens. Super cold negative degrees- it was fine. I've been fooling around with making sure my back up sensors are clean, and my camera lens is clean-- this issue is very sporadic though. My stupid dealer wants my Jeep for 3 days before I even get on any fix list. I did get a case number, but unless I turn in my car for 3 days with no loaner, so they can diagnose something that is plainly obvious with video footage and everything-- they say my case will auto close in 7 days. So far my radio is working 90% of the time-- but eventually I'm going to get really pissed about this. It's terrible Jeep service.
Fuse 97 Worked!! I have a 4 hour car trip so I'm hoping I get my 2 week extension, and I don't have to pull this fuse every time I drive.
What did the dealer have to say? What were the codes? At the dealership right now, they said that my Jeep has some codes pop up. I will post them as soon as I get a copy of them.
They gave me a printout of a bunch of codes , I would post it but my personal info is all over it, they also told me the rattle I was talking about was related to myWhat did the dealer have to say? What were the codes?
they wouldn't do anything for your radio cutting out because of the antenna? They gave me a printout of a bunch of codes , I would post it but my personal info is all over it, they also told me the rattle I was talking about was related to my
Muffler and the ordered me a new one...in terms of the radio they didn’t do anything because I had an aftermarket antenna....gotta go back next week.
If it helps, I have a Tazer JL (not mini) and I have this trouble semi frequently. Happened today even when it was 43F which is probably the warmest I've ever seen it happen. Usually it's always in the 20's before it starts.@eugene @RIC3BOY And everyone else...
So I installed a mini Tazer JL for my Wrangler because I wanted to adjust tire size and some other options like lockers in 2 Wheel Drive etc.
Funny thing is ever since I installed it last week I have been going strong for 7+ days with no issue.
I am still waiting to see if the issue occurs again while having the Tazer installed and if it does at least I will have the option to do a full reboot of the UConnect System via the Tazer interface. People in the forums say that fixes the issue... way simpler then having to deal with the infamous fuse F97.
Granted we should not have to buy 3rd party products to make our vehicles work properly but just wanted to see if anyone else out there has the Tazer and if they are having problems still?

I may have to figure out how to do the Tazer UConnect reset you mention. Would be nice to have some option other than pulling a fuse.
