Here is my build, the dealer forgot to add the leather seats invoice pricing is $1331 for leather, I'm going today after work to confirm this deal.

It' supposed to be 1% under invoice with $300 of on top of that. What should the total be before TTL? They also said when ordering the price might go up or down a hundred or two but that rarley happens

1% Below is the $46,310 Figure "FFP"
I’m going to use the tread lightly program with my dealer and see if I can get it down from there.

Jeep smashin, I think that if you look hard you canget at least 3% below invoice locally I am going to start pushing my dealer for 5 or I'll be booking a flight to idaho and a road trip home. and being 11-12% under msrp which is about 5-6% under invoice. I hear gilroy is also vey agrressive.

I apologize if it has been answered:

I know the Jeep.com Build & Price has some bugs, but from my understanding Leather Seats on the JLU (Rubicon specifically for me) get the rear seat with fold down center armrest, and Cloth Seats get the normal seats, correct?

What about Tan Leather Seats? When I built my JLU Rubicon with Tan Leather Seats, the interior showed a normal rear seat, no center armrest. Is Black Leather the only option that gets the rear center armrest?

Thanks!
For anyone else that may be curious, the Tan Leather still has the rear arm rest with cup holders :whew:

New ask a dealer question:

How can I tell by the VIN if it's a JL or JK?

last of the VIN, Last 8 will be JW123456 for a JL and JL123456 for a JK. Obviously the numbers will be different but its the letter that count.

Is the vented hood on the Rubicon actually "vented" or is it purely cosmetic? And if it's vented, is the water channeled in any way or does it just cascade down on the engine? And if that's the case, is it orderable with a non-vented hood?

First, the Rubicon is not available to order without that hood. The hood is actually vented through. On the underside of the hood is the gray almost fabric type guard that protects the direct upper part of the engine. The water collects there and drains out the sides on the outer part of the engine compartment.

Not getting replies on another thread I started about Katzkin leather, so I thought I'd ask here. Thinking about ordering Katzkin leather instead of factory. Good or bad decision or are you indifferent? They have more choices, but reading some bad reviews on FaceBook and a little worried. Mixed reviews on durability, installation issues, and response time by Katkin. How's the quality? is it going to have the same feel when you sit in it as factory installed? Colors are definitely better than the two choices we have.

My first thought is how long do you want to wait? Those of us with standard options are waiting..just a thought

I'm a huge fan of the Katzkin. I prefer the tabby! Just kidding, but seriously, the Katzkin was the leather upgrade for the JK. The quality is better in my opinion and yes, more choices, stitching, etc. I think its a great option. The only draw back here is that they are kits and may not be readily available at the start.
