I'm currently living in San Antonio Texas right now and I called a couple dealerships, even stopped by another, and got the same story that they are not taking preorders now. The one in person said they were going to but their ability to do so was cancelled. In fact, they all said they don't have any more information on the new Wrangler other than what's already online. Any idea what this might be about or does anyone know of a dealership in San Antonio who can do pre-orders?

I'm thinking that many of these dealerships are being discouraged to even talk about it since they still have JK inventory that needs to be sold.

I think you will find that sometimes. There are other instances where a dealership can piss off FCA and FCA will ban them from any custom orders for a time period. Additionally, many are in fact Muppets and don't know enough. Not Professional in my option. Try Houston, Dallas, or even Arizona. Someone will be able to assist you if your local dealerships are not willing.

Hi Dealer Guy,

Do you know if the Ocean Blue can be ordered yet or not?
Or any idea as far as when they will start production?

Am I right or on 12/13 they will release pricing for everything? (I assume brochures as well)

Thanks

Nico

Ocean Blue is in the order system but grayed out so we can't actually order it yet but I am checking all the time as I have people waiting for it.

We hear 12/13. The Brochure is available on Jeep.com right now. They have gotten away from printing most of them for retail.

Did I hear that correctly? 12/13 for Ocean Blue??? If so, what are the odds of being able to change an order in D1?

Hi dealer guy!

If we were to order the premium cloth interior on the Rubicon, what color would the dash be?

We know black leather gets red
And tan leather gets black.

Thanks

Jay I have a question hopefully you can answer. I just ordered a new 4door Rubicon JL. As I was going down the option sheet with the dealer, he did not know the answer to my option questions. Anyway I ordered the WLD wheel option thinking it is the wheel I see on the Rubicon pics like the ones posted on here for the new colors. I have seen a couple different wheel pics. I'm interested in the wheels that are posted on the Wrangler pics of the colors. Did I order those wheels or make a mistake I need to try and change? Please advise so I can hopefully change ASAP. Thanks.

Question for the dealer. If I saw a Wrangler on a lot that had everything I wanted but the standard soft top instead of the premium soft top, what would a dealer be able to do for that? Would they swap it out for the price of the premium top plus a little extra? Would I keep the standard soft top and maybe sell it to get the money back? Can they roll that into the deal or would it be a separate deal? Should I just wait and do aftermarket?

Honestly don't know on this one. Sorry. Since in the pictures, we have seen every dash in a Rubicon, until something else comes out, it's a wait and see.

WLD should be the black in the center wheels and a polished outer lip. Hopefully that is what you want.

Thanks for your reply. In your opinion, do you think that is the wheel that is shown in most of the new Rubicon pics?

Every after purchase Mopar accessory I have seen, aside from a hand full, is more than if you were to order it from the factory. You can roll that accessory into your deal if you like and tell them you want the regular one back to sell on your own.Generally if there is one on the lot that has that option, we very rarely swap them out as it messes up the Window Sticker compared to what you really get. The other part of this is if you want them to install it or you do it yourself. The Labor charged is stupid for things like that. Sales and Service are separate. I've been quoted 4 hours labor to swap 2 hard tops. Had 2 guys who know what they are doing do it in 15 minutes instead.

It should be the one on the Ocean Blue 2 door on the Jeep.com website. the 4 door Punk'n on the next picture is the standard wheel.
