And people wonder why Jeep won't offer a manual in some of their power trains. 1:50, that's depressing.
I’m old enough to have learned on a 3 on the tree. I get it, but people are notoriously lazy. Merica!

Count me in on this. But seriously, after a knee replacement, a bad back, I can’t do it. I want to enjoy my time. I think most people looking to put $50 in on a off road vehicle, aren’t 20 year olds for the most part. We just want to have a good time and enjoy our investment.

Where I am, 1 manual to probably close to 50 automatics. And, this is Jeep country. Yes we get a lot of mall crawlers, but this type of investment is a lot of people’s daily drivers as well. We still get a ton of people who really use them. I’m a automatic guy myself. Don’t want to worry when on something steep and slippery. Or, can’t see what is in front of me and have to get out to look when leading. And I want to be comfortable rocking the Yeti buckled into the back seat with some camping chairs and my Vair in the back. A lot of times pulling the front tops off mid trail and just throwing them in the back. Anyway, yes, lots of automatics. Manual is a lost art. I think most people born after 1980, don’t even know how to drive one.
I started driving in 1957. Every car I've owned (mine - not my wife's) has been a stick. But the JL I'm going to order is going to be automatic. Going to be a new experience, plus my wife can now help on the long drives :)

Sorry, I didn't mean to derail the thread. Back to your regularly-scheduled wheeling and dealing.

Dealer guy,

Do you have any info on the tire options for the Sahara? Do you know which All Terrain model tire is given from Goodyear and Bridgestone?

There is a way to adjust that, though, through the settings in the Uconnect system so that it never comes on. It is a delay that can be set for I think up to 45 minutes, meaning you'd have to idle for that long for it to shut down. The Grand Cherokee has this, so I'm reasonably sure the Wrangler will have it.
I have not seen this in our GC. Where do you think that is in the Uconnect system? Or are you referring to the Engine off options, which sets how long power continues to radio, lights, etc. after Engine is turned off? I think you can set 0s or 45s up to maybe 10 min.

I'll try and find the Youtube video where I saw it. The guy who did the video said he'd been through the menus dozens of times looking for something to do this and missed it.

It may take a bit, but I'll find it.

I had Duelers on my Subaru Forester from factory...the lasted about 17000 miles. I’d get any tire but those if I were getting a Sahara
