Mine is still in the box, just need to have time to install. Too many projects on the table right now.

if you watched the install video they mention protecting the plastic sides of the front seats by placing what looked like tape over them. Be sure to not skip this! Installed mine on Saturday so ask me how I unfortunately know.Just received the JL front and rear kit today. Looks to be a very stout product. Hope to install it this weekend. I’ll be patiently waiting for the JL cargo area kit to come later this year. Carpet be gone.
Thanks for the heads up but I’ll probably be taking the seats out. I like to take things apart to see how they’re built and then put them back together. It also helps me brainstorm future crazy ideas.if you watched the install video they mention protecting the plastic sides of the front seats by placing what looked like tape over them. Well today was the day, I pulled out the box and ripped into the jeep and removed all the trim panels, carpet, etc. Took me about 2 hours from start to finish. Was pretty easy with leaving the seats in the jeep and rolling them back and forth.Mine is still in the box, just need to have time to install. Too many projects on the table right now.

Yes, you just need to cut some of it away.Is there room to still put an arb dual compressor under the seat with the Armorlite floor?
Agreed. Fit isn’t optimal. In fact I might have to go in and do some sort of modification to get it to fit better. I noticed the other day that the passenger seat wasn’t sliding back and forth freely due to interference from contact with the compressor. I don’t remember it doing that when I first installed it.Yes, you just need to cut some of it away.
Still holding out hope for a 2 door full kit.
:edit: now that we've got 6 would-be buyers between me and those who liked this comment, @Armorlite Kail do you know if the 2 door JL stuff has been further delayed or if we might see it this year? I think I remember it was "on the list" some time ago but not sure if things have changed.
Armorlite New Product Update Info: JL 2Door rear floor and cargo
** This information is up to date as of 5/19/22 **
Here I would like to provide to you the most up to date information regarding this product release.
The JL 2door specific kit is in development. We have limited engineering resources and a series of releases in the queue.
The bulk of the design/engineering for the JL rear and cargo floor is complete. It is on pause to verify fit and will undergo a couple design reviews prior to a design lock. These steps are waiting on engineerings availability.
Once a design lock is in place it will be passed along to our tool shop for the dies to be cut. Once the dies are cut and test fitting is done the product will be ready to go. The raw materials and plant resources are available and will not become a bottle neck.
At this point a presale date will not be announced until we have a count down on tool machining. We are optimistic on releasing this one in the near future but until we have solid milestone completions we will be holding off from any solid date announcements. This product will be released for sure during 2022 and that is the only concrete announcement I will make at this time.
The JL kit release will be available in 2 possible configurations at this point. As of 5/19/22 we are looking to release a complete package as part of the next phase.
The Front, Rear, Cargo floor only kit is first in line to be released.
The addition of the complete cargo package which will include wheel arch covers and seat backs may accompany the 1st release, but it may also be released separately soon after. But all released products will work with each other and which ever configuration you choose, expansion of coverage will be seamless. Including if you start with only fronts.

5/19/22 Update
Quick update, still nothing concrete but we are starting the final design review process. This still includes time working back and forth with the tool shop before we are able to lock down a release schedule. But it is news that the date is moving forward.
Since the JL 2 door originally only received a front floor package kit it was in line for further design. Instead of just releasing the rear passenger area we decided to jump to making a more complete kit in this next phase.
The next JL kit to be released will include Front and Rear passenger flooring, cargo floor, rear wheel house and seat back. This will basically be providing Armorlite from firewall to tailgate. As the JKU kit we expect to sell this in a package as well as various ala cart products as well. This way you can order the coverage that suits your build best and works with vehicles that are outfitted with other aftermarket products or for those who have seat deletes.
I placed my dual ARB under the drivers seat for a couple of reasons. Most of the time we only have three people in the Jeep and the third sits behind the passenger because I drive with the seat all the way back. Secondly, I use the dash TPMS as a guide for pressure while airing up as I have a four tire air up system so it makes it easy to see and shut off the compressor at the right time. Lastly, because it blocks much of the floor airflow to the rear which would make a difference if someone was sitting behind me. However, it really helps to keep the compressor cool while air up tires.Agreed. Fit isn’t optimal. In fact I might have to go in and do some sort of modification to get it to fit better. I noticed the other day that the passenger seat wasn’t sliding back and forth freely due to interference from contact with the compressor. I don’t remember it doing that when I first installed it.
Great to hear! It's so rare we get 2 door stuff these days it's going to be like the second coming of Jesus when I can fully remove the carpet in my JLR.There have been no changes that push this out of a 2022 release.
