I see 0 advantage as the driver or passenger vs just plugging in. We have 2 different length cords plugged in and can charge, scroll, play games, etc from the passengers seat and then both phones are fully charged. We are 100% off grid at our AZ property and is hate to get there and then have to even think about charging my phone. The Jeep took care of that on the 500 mile drive automatically.

These batteries degrade when kept at 100% charge, even with a decent BMS that attempts to mitigate the damage. There's a reason that many phones only charge to 80% until just before your alarm goes off.

For me, AAWireless was initially for those 500+ mile trips. Wireless is now my sole connection since my phone no longer connects over USB C. Yes, I've tried all the tricks to get it to connect again, but they've all failed.
