I have an ARB twin compressor mounted under my pax seat and have installed the Epic Kraken system with pressure control upgrade. Last time out, I couldn't air up as the compressor is running but is intermittently pumping air. Basically is it cutting off/on the air output.

I've checked all of the press fit hoses and don't feel any air leaks. Checked the air inlet and filters for any blockage. All looks good. Any ideas?

My guess would be an issue with the pressure controller piece…perhaps it thinks the pressure has been reached. Process of elimination suggests disconnecting the compressor from the pressure controller and see if it works as it should…a PITA but will at least tell you which component has the problem.
Hope it’s something easy to fix.

Where are you pulling your power from for the compressor?

Yeah got a call into Epic. Hope to hear back tomorrow. It is a PITA to revert back to standard configuration as the ‘plumbing’ is different for the pressure controller.

So the compressor never stops?

It's normal for the ARB Pressure Control to repeatedly, briefly close the solenoid valve (stopping the compressor via the pressure switch) to check the pressure on the tire side.

Correct the compressor does not stop running but it stops intermittently pumping air. Most of the time it is not pushing air. It probably would have taken me an hour or more to fully inflate. Normally a 5min job.

Does the compressor sound normal (and like it's under load)?

Have you checked voltage at the compressor?
