I am considering putting these on my Jeep since I air down almost every weekend in the summer, sometimes more than once a day. They look nicely made, but looking for real world feedback on anyone who has installed and used them. Oh, and do they behave well with Jeep TPMS.

Apparently bolt on without rim modifications. Looked at a few videos online and they look promising.

Thanks

Those look pretty cool!

Looking at the spec sheet makes me think they are very wheel specific?

I will be interested to see if anyone has used these.

:fingerscrossed:

Did you get these? Do you have any long term feedback on their durability?

I have them. They are awesome, no issues with them yet, they air up faster because the hole is larger, and i go from 33psi to 15 in about 10 seconds with my 40s

I have had them on since the Jeep was new in late April.

I had 1 of them that did not seal to the wheel well. I had to break to the bead and reseal it, but that may have been my fault the way I assembled.

First off these are awesome. I air down every weekend to 10lbs for dune running, often more than once in a weekend, often more than once.

Speed of air down is astonishing. Build quality is amazing. Really functional and unique.

They have functioned flawlessly since late April until now.

Here is the "negatives".

On the wheels I chose, the combination of the factory TPMS sensor, and the Apex bracket to hold it, didn't line up nicely. It puts a side load on the valve stem, which is probably why I had to redo one. That isn't a fault of Apex, with 1000s of wheel styles and sizes it would be impossible.

The second is that again, with my wheels, the tires just barely clear the sensors without hitting them upon install of the tire on the wheel.

I have run the Apex Design rapid delate valve stems since 2022. I have aired down thousands of times using them. The only problem that I have ran into is when my local tire shop breaks the rear bead of the tire off the rim, they have ripped the TMPS sensor off twice. It is an easy fix and the bracket is $5. I do a 12 Mississippi count to air down from 27 psi to 8 to 9 psi.

I probably have about 4 sets of tires mounted on the wheels and 90,000 miles on the jeep running the valve stems. I would absolutely buy them again. I find Apex Design lacking in customer support at times, but their products are quality.

Love my Apex deflators. I use the RPV standard length deflators and it takes a second or two to air down a tire. I do wear ear protection when doing so.

I've been running Apex RPV stems for a few years now. All good.

One thing to look out for is how they fit your wheels. You don't want them to stick out, since they are essentially rigidly attached to the wheel. So, if you're choosing wheels, look for some that the stem is more protected.
