Mine don’t interfere at all and I have prob one of the deepest recess on a wheel. You are right the pull tab is a little tricky. If my fingers were any fatter I would likely need to come up with a pull tool. But hey, 1.5 PSI a second. No waiting around for me 🤣
Don't confuse what D and E actually mean. This is the ply's on the tread section ONLY. It has nothing to do with sidewall.
E will give you a harsher ride because they are meant for heavier payloads.
Cant say if they fit the Fuel wheels, but I don't see why they wouldn't.
My wheels have a very deeply recessed valve stem hole, so they avoid being hit by rocks and such. The APEX went in fine and work with the TPMS.
Just do your valve stem depth measurement as APEX shows you and that will...
You can purchase bolts with black oxide coating, but I think they will start rusting within a few months.
I would just rattle can the existing ones and touch them up as needed.
I have found out that if you use some types in just battery mode, and your amperage load is excessive, they will not work (depending on battery health). I believe the AUX line has a low current sensor for the batt and shuts off high power draws. Turning the engine on lights them up on the reg.
IMO these both suck. I had the Mopar version and it barley did anything.
You need the entire system. Look at ACE, Teraflex, Motobilt, etc . . . any with the hinge portion built in.
It appears they make a ton of stuff for Toyota. The long lead times are supply chain and their Toyota orders. I have only seen 1 Jeeper on IG with the bumper only and he loves it. I have been eyeballing this one for about 3 months now. Time to pull the trigger, its on sale!
I put in an Alien Sun Shade and it reduced the heat quite a bit. They have UV reflectors in the material so it aids quite a bit.
I also went to the extreme and popped for a $600 heat reflecting tint all around. She stays pretty temperate now.
