Anyone modify the oem rubicon plastic bumper

Hey all, curious if anyone has cut or modified the oem plastic bumper. I’m eventually gonna get a steel shorty, but I’m curious if anyone has chopped the ends of their plastic one yet.

Only cutting I've seen here, so far, is to install a bull bar or lights to the steel under the plastic bumper.

I have the steel bumper group. I didn't cut it, I just removed the bolts.

I chopped mine up to stuff my winch in there. Eventually I'll throw an aluminum bumper on. I thought about cutting the ends off but thought it would look too unfinished

how does the winch mount? Is there any hardware that comes with the winch that fits to the frame?

I saw the rock hard plate that goes with the stock bumper but yours actually looks cleaner without the top plate and keeps the stock recovery points functional.
