I purchased the Jeep new in May, 2019. It is a 2019 Sting Gray Unlimited Rubicon. It is my daily driver, but I am planning big trips with it at least once a year, and many weekend trips to TX off-road parks. My build is going slow, but I will update as things are added from the plan or if plans change.

Great looking Jeep!

I totally agree about Sting Grey being the most interesting and best color. It goes from a beautiful, smokey light grey in direct sunlight to almost black in the evening. It is similar to other Jeep colors from the JK years, and just as dynamic.

I ordered this '19 JLUR in Feb to be my daily ride, but also to make a few big trips every year. In April she performed beyond belief at Moab EJS.

Installed the Metalcloak Undercloak Skids last week.

Price was $1,199 direct from Metalcloak. As far as the weight, the kit weighs 179lbs. You do remove some crossmember pieces. I’m not sure how much the difference is as I didn't weigh the parts that I took off, but the added weight is probably around 150 lbs.

Added some KC Hilites Gravity G34 cube lights with the wide beam pattern on A-Pillar mounts and wired them up to the factory Aux 3 switch.

Installed the Outback Adventure Products JL Tailgater today. It was a super easy install and I really like how sturdy it feels. I will get some use out of it later this month with a planned trip to CO for some trail runs. Please pardon the dirty Jeep in these shots.

Finally, after a two month wait due to backorder I got my new wheels. Fifteen52 Traverse HD in Block Bronze. I took the wife on a nice leisurely drive along a Texas country road to break them in.
