Mine blips the throttle on deceleration once the clutch is in, when I'm nearing a stop. That might be what was described with dropping to 500rpms, but it doesn't feel that low. Anyway, it sounds really cool with the Magnaflow exhaust. My wife asked why I do that when decelerating and I told her that I couldn't do it if I tried. You can't heel/toe these things with the pedal setup. She said it sounded great when it did that. I would have taken credit and gotten the glory for it, except she'd figure it out when she drove it later.

Other than that, I don't think I hear or feel anything abnormal. I hear/feel far less NVH with this manual tranny/clutch than any I've ever owned.

Just to clarify what I'm feeling isn't while moving the stick shift it's in the clutch. When I push down the clutch it's almost like its rubbing against something. I don't feel it when I first start driving, it seems to start after driving for a little while. Also feels like there is more resistance when it happens, can't explain it.

@DanW you've had your manual for a while one of the first if i remember. Have you noticed this?
I only get what I described above, and it doesn't include any clutch pedal vibration, at least that I've percieved. One thing to keep in mind is that I drive my JK to work 3 to 4 days a week, so I'm still used to it, and for a JK, it feels perfect. When you go from that to the JL all the time, the JL feels just night and day better, all around. That could mask a minor vibration with me.

Also, remember, manual transmissions are just by nature full of more noises and vibrations than an automatic. You get shielded from those things with an auto because you have no direct connection with them, and they rely on hydrolic mechanism coupled with electronics to dampen and smooth the process. There are fewer options to reduce NVH with a manual. Go drive a commercial vehicle with a manual, then come back to your JL and you'll feel like you went to heaven and you won't notice these little things until some time passes and you get used to it. The best thing to do with a manual is not worry about tiny things you can feel. Just worry if there is a big one that interferes with drivability. My JK clunked and clanked, vibrated, and shook all the way to 116k miles (No more than any other JK.) At that point, I got an FCA remanufactured NSG370 with all the updates (original was an 08) plus a new Mopar clutch. Night and day improvement. Still nowhere near the refinement of the JL, though. I get more of everything in the JK...gear noise, vibration in the clutch and shifter, you name it. I still enjoy it. It is like a dump truck! Lol!

Btw, with all it's roughness, the original 08 never left me stranded. It had a loud squeak in the clutch at 14k, fixed. Then was popping out of 1st gear, hard, and actually hurt my wrist when it did it while my hand was resting on it. They took it apart and changed a bunch of internal parts, fixing it. Then, at 110k, it was popping out of 3rd, very gently, about once a month, and its entire life, it made a severe rattling sound when in 1st gear, right off idle, going up a driveway or small hill. It always did that. I took it in just to see what they could do, fully fine with living with it if they could do nothing. They came back and said they were replacing the whole thing. Unecessary, but covered by warranty, so what the heck...The new one is MUCH better. Anyway, I could have gone nuts worrying about all the NVH in that JK. No need.

That might be as simple a fix as just an adjustment. I'd have it looked at.

I started noticing when slowing down, I'll press the clutch all the way in to down shift and a lot of times I'll get a some sort of vibration in the clutch pedal. Feels almost as if a cable is being pulled, it's hard to describe.

Does anyone else notice this? Is it something I should be concerned with? I really don't want to take it to the dealer consider I've only had it back a week since it was at the dealer for a week.
I get this from time to time. Done it ever since it was new. Seems to happen most in 3rd or 2nd gear when coming to a stop right after a push the clutch in and the engine is coming down in rpm. I’m chalking this up to becoming familiar with the way the clutch feels. If it gets worse or different I would take it in.
This is exactly what mine does usually in 2nd or 3rd. It’s a harder rpm drop than normal.
I started to notice the same type of feeling in the clutch today. Also seems like a bit of extra resistance when it happens. I notice it most when downshifting and in reverse. I think it's always done it however more noticeable the past couple of days.

Good thing I searched before posting.
I am also feeling strange things on mine. Going from 1st to second isn’t as smooth as I’m used to and I also feel the fast rpm drop as well

Has anyone found out anything further on this? Just got a JL and noticed exactly what's being described here.

Mine also has the same rubbling feeling. It does it all the time in mine at 6000 miles. Also squeaks now.

I test drove one, it had a terrible squeak. I hope this isn’t a common issue. Still waiting on my Sahara, and I hope my clutch doesn’t have that noise. I’ll go crazy!

I am at about 2,000 miles and I really haven't noticed the kinds of sensations being described here. Has anyone had it checked out and actually gotten some kind of resolution?

This is my first post but I feel compelled as I also just starting noticing this. I basically get a little vibration or resistance on the clutch as if it were engaging. The first 500-600 miles was completely smooth and now the past 100 or so I have started to notice. I would have almost thought it was normal had it not been so smooth prior.

I would love to hear what others have heard as it relates to this. I will tell you what it isn't, "A Jeep Thing". I owned a manual JK previously so I am familiar with unfortunate manual transmissions.
