I started noticing when slowing down, I'll press the clutch all the way in to down shift and a lot of times I'll get a some sort of vibration in the clutch pedal. Feels almost as if a cable is being pulled, it's hard to describe.

Does anyone else notice this? Is it something I should be concerned with? I really don't want to take it to the dealer consider I've only had it back a week since it was at the dealer for a week.

I’ve got just over 3600 miles on my manual and haven’t noticed anything like what you’re describing. Of course use your best judgment, but I would probably drive it for a little while longer and see if it gets worse it stays the same. I hate going to the dealer unless I have a known problem that I’m sure the dealership can reproduce. I hate the cant reproduce response and half of them don’t know how t drive a stick anymore anyways!!

I get this from time to time. Done it ever since it was new. Seems to happen most in 3rd or 2nd gear when coming to a stop right after a push the clutch in and the engine is coming down in rpm. I’m chalking this up to becoming familiar with the way the clutch feels. If it gets worse or different I would take it in.

This is exactly what mine does usually in 2nd or 3rd. It’s a harder rpm drop than normal.

If they are like the JK manuals they have garbage throw out bearings and your syncros will go prematurely. Mine did at 40k and at 60k with a centerforce flywheel/clutch. get high quality syncromesh fluid in them asap.

I started to notice the same type of feeling in the clutch today. Also seems like a bit of extra resistance when it happens. I notice it most when downshifting and in reverse. I think it's always done it however more noticeable the past couple of days.

Good thing I searched before posting.

Only 200 miles, but no problems.

Shakes a bit if I'm in too high of a gear and too slow. But so did every other manual I've owned.

Good luck.

I am also feeling strange things on mine. Going from 1st to second isn’t as smooth as I’m used to and I also feel the fast rpm drop as well

I feel strange things all the time, that said I have 400 miles on my manual Rubi and it feels like silk. One of the best manuals I've driven. I'll keep a close eye on it though. See if things change.

4045 miles on my RUBI MT. Very smooth. Nothing like the issues being described. So, no it’s not normal. May not be cause for concern if it goes away. Like it’s been said, keep monitoring and if there is no improvement time to take it to dealer.

Almost 5200 on my Sahara MT6 and no issues like what you’re describing.

I feel strange things, too. I even married one of them once.
