I still think it was completely stupid to use the designation of "DOT 5" instead of coming up with something completely different. While forums such as this are primarily populated with users that pay attention to such things, I have little confidence that the average driver appreciates that the little ".1" is a major difference - more likely that it's the same "version" of brake fluid, just with a few minor improvements.How embarrassing.I legit should've remembered that 5 is actually the silicone-based formulation.
