With the Autel you need the secure gateway cable or you need to sign up ($) for their Chrysler secure gateway access for 2-way communication. Even with that I don't believe you'll be able to activate your switches. I'd go the Tazer route.

So today I received the tazer mini
I configured and played around with the options my aux switches work now and cubes are working of course ! Thank you to everyone. Question I do not see the lighting switch program in the setting. For example latching and etc. is this option only for the Jeep that originally came with aux options already installed ? Not a big deal. But I just want to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Thanks again Cram!!!!

You should still be able to configure each switch in the Uconnect settings latching, momentary, etc.

Thanks for the quick reply. I need to navigate through the options. On one of the options/settings it has a “Aux”. And next to it states No and I couldn’t pick yes to no. Not sure if this is for aux for example. CD player. Video or something like that …

Hey Everyone, I am having a funky issue with my install where the ESS system works fine until I use the Tazer to enable the AUX switches. Once I enable them with the Tazer the Jeep pops a "Stop/Start Not Ready Battery Charging" message that will not go away until undoing the changes with the Tazer. Switches will appear to function as normal after the coding update but the ESS system constantly says battery charging no matter how long I drive. It also popped an ESS error yesterday driving for over an hour that I have been chasing my tail trying to figure out. I started a thread for it since I haven't read of this issue on the forum yet. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I'm going nuts trying to figure it out.

I currently have the same problem. Where you able to resolve this?

I resolved it by replacing the switch assembly. I plan on diagnosing what went wrong electrically with the old one just haven't yet had time.
