Mine will zip them right off. Like I wrote earlier, my bud loosens the bolts on his stump grinder that are torqued to 450 ft-lbs. with his Milwaukee 1/2 impact gun. Berries state does make a difference.

Yes I meant am skeptical of the off brand mentioned. I have that same Milwaukee 1/2 inch as well as their 3/8 and 1/4 inch drivers.

Slipping a pipe over the handle of my wrench gives me enough leverage 99% of the time. When that's not enough, its my torque multiplying wrench that saves the day.

The one I have is a 4:1 ratio.

I use a breaker bar with the jack handle attached to it. Works like a charm.

I had to use a floor jack on a 1/2 breaker bar….. 190 ft/lbs is a lot!

Ok, so I have an update, but not one most of you will like. I did not get any of the bolts off and I'm pretty sure it's because I bought a cheaper impact wrench that only has 500lbs of torque.

Before anyone says I should have bought a Dewalt or Milwaukee or whatever that has torques in the millions, let me explain my use case. After this, I don't have any major upgrades planned. Just some ditch lights, bumpers and front & rear diff skids. So, my thought is, I don't need to spend hundreds of dollars right now for top quality. Only one of those upgrades could make this thought process backfire, the diff skids, but I won't know until it's time. Plus, I live in a small townhouse with a one car garage, don't have a lot of room.

My shop charges $130 per hour, which is about how long it will take to install both skids. That is half the price of one of the good guns and will still need batteries.

While it sucks because I definitely want to have the ability to do more to the Jeep, I'm fine with only being able to do 50% of the work right now. It's 50% more than I used to do before getting the Jeep. I'm happy with this decision for now and know that I could change my mind in the future and will accept that $130 loss

should have tried out my 12v impact, you could always return it for free or use it for tire rotations
