I’m getting different numbers that don’t seem to match up.

85.5 degrees off the diff
0-2 degrees from top C
5 degrees from the bottom C

Numbers change depending on placement of angle finder. I have an appointment for an alignment but I’m curious what I’m doing wrong?

All measurements taken from driver side on a Clayton 3.5 Overland Plus lift.

The Cs are extremely hard to get an accurate measurement from because it’sa compound angle. Any rotation of the measuring device will change the angle. The diff is 6° off from 0 so probably pretty close there.

The passenger side diff reads 86.9. I’ve read this is not unusual. Based on these values is it safe to say I’m running between 9-10 degrees of caster?

I’m confused. How does the 6 degrees factor in then?

If the number decreases as you rotate the angle-finder down, then yes. If it increases then you are showing 3-4°, which is much more likely. This all assumes your floor is perfectly flat.
