For those that have the MP concepts factory-like bumper, do any of you rock crawl type of wheel? Just looking to see how it holds up. I like the look of factory bumpers and fog like output is great.
After would be the rear bumper but damaged my tub a little and now debating if a factory-like bumper for the rear is ideal.
Currently asking about the front bumper only though!! TIA :)

Just understand that Aluminum bumper easily bend and are damaged, The Only reason I use Aluminum is to reduce weight for towing. I had a small car bump me in a parking lot and my bumper easily deformed, the upside with Aluminum is easier to bend back into shape but once bent its integrity is compromised for ever. I would not rock crawl with Aluminum knowing it may have some impacts.

How do you like your 4xe? Pro's and Cons? Looks great.

After owning a 4xe and a 2018 JL (still own both), I much prefer the 2018 with the 3.6, the 4-banger in the 4xe is horrible, loud and noisy, rattles. it turns heads but for the wrong reason. With a realistic 18-20 miles of electric kind of underwhelming for the added 1000lbs. Frankly the added 1000lbs impedes off road perofrmance in sand mud and snow. I would sell the 4xe but for tax reason I have to keep it for 5 years.

For those of you with aluminum bumpers without driving light provisions. Are you able to use the OEM driving light button for larger aftermarket lights? Wasn’t sure if it would make sense since a lot of lights have multiple brightness settings.

I see a lot of you running the rock hard midwidth, but does anyone have their stubby? I’m debating getting rid of my mopar knock off to shed some weight off the front end and don’t have a winch yet, and at 25lbs it seems stupid light. Just gotta decided if I want to eventually get the winch in a recessed mount or top mount.

I went with the Rockhard stubby aluminum. I posted some pics in this thread. starting about page 8-9. That was before the 35's etc. but you get the idea. It was a great bumper. no complaints at all. Very solid. I have since sold the JL, but thought I would chime in.

Thanks I must've scrolled right past it. Love how it looks, and how tight it is to the body of the jeep vs the oem lookalike steel bumper. Just debating on if I wanna leave a winch on top of the bumper or recessed inside a bumper. The other option for now is the nextventuremotorsports adventure bumper.

Next Venture was on my short list too haha. They look pretty awesome.
Just my 2 cents, but as far as the winch on top vs in the bumper, I have always gone on top for ease of use. (easy to get to winch for unspooling/respooling, etc.) and also for cleaning. I never liked the idea of the recess area for collecting dirt, mud, leaves, etc. Just another opinion though.
