I have a 2020 JLUR with. 3.5” lift. Adjustable LCA’s. I have a pretty decent pull to the right.

Any suggestions?

Early 2020? Aluminum steering box?
Mine pulls hard right when its hot outside, pulls less hard when its cold but still pulls. Have new box (steel upgraded box) sitting on lift wating for some free time for install.

I had a pull after a lift install that continued after an alignment. While poking around I noticed I'd done a terrible job centering my rear axle - it was off center by about an inch. When I called the shop they told me they assume the rear axle is perpendicular to the frame and parallel to the front axle. I centered the rear axle and the pull went away, I still had them redo the alignment and the numbers they showed were still good.

If I remember correctly, the axle was more to the driver side and it was a right pull.

Second time around I didn't bother with an alignment.

alignment shop said both axles were centered. I will double check with tape measure.

Drivers side is approximately 3/4” further than passenger side.

Your numbers look well inside the envelope of tolerance.

You can use you outer front fender lip to measure. Tool? Builders Framing square

If you use by placing on the tire sidewall ensure your psi is dead on.

that’s exactly what I did. Both front and back are shifted roughly 3/4” to drivers side.

You GOT IT Bro, now shift that front axle and see if it brings the rear axle into alignment, if not it come close.

? Got any thoughts on how it occurred???

That’s odd, the rear should’ve shifted to the passenger side when lifted…….when the frame is lifted the track bar pulls the axle…. The front the track bar is connected to the axle on the passenger side so it.gets pulled driver, the rear track bar is connected to the axle on the driver side and gets pulled passenger…… I’m not sure what’s going on but it’s not possible for the rear axle to get pulled to the driver side when you lift it with a oem track bar…. If you have an adjustable rear track bar then it got adjusted to long….Also you should adjust the toe in 1/16” it will help…..

Adjustable front track bar needs to be extended a little more. After the lift it was a couple 3 inches off.

NOTE when you start shifting, begin with the Track bar first, last is your drag link, key is the pitman arm must be centered or you will get what is called Bump Steer, that is whey the drag link comes adjustable OEM. LOT of people think bump steer is DW, its NOT!

Centered pitman arm < > centered Steering wheel

Thanks. I have had DW before and got that resolved. Don’t have bump steer. Have a little wobble between 50-60. Re-balanced tires and didn’t help.

doing track bar adjustment this afternoon. Might push out passenger LCA out a thread or two at my allotment tech’s recommendation.
