What about underneath somewhere?I thought about this but I don't see enough room under the hood for it. =( I have a friend who installed one into his Smartcar.

I also have this - used it when dune bashing in the Middle East, to air up big tires on a Nissan Patrol.
Like I said, I've got the Viair 450P and it is phenomenal and very stout. This one looks to be pretty comparable. I've never used an ARB, but they have a great reputation. Either way looks to be good...
I’m probably a little nuts, but then I also can saw I’ve got all my bases covered.
On my JK I installed an Arb under the hood. Ideally I’d like to reuse my Arb if all goes well and I pick up a JL, however having looked under the hood of a JL I’m thinking I may need to put some real thought into where one can be installed or wait for the market to figure out a solution.

As a back up in the Jeep I also run with a 10lb CO2 tank. This has come in handy for running my impact gun or as an air back up when my Arb has over heated (a problem with being mounted over the exhaust manifold).
Something I picked up 2 years ago to carry in my wife’s Ram on a road trip to SoCal was a portable Arb dual compressor. All the benefits of the Arb dual with the ability to be portable in addition to running an impractical gun or other air tools.
I haven't picked up a JL yet so I'm not sure. If the JL is anything like the JK, you won't be able to put either of the two standard Arb compressors under the seats as they stand upright. The Arb twin compressor is a possibility with the right bracket to mount the compressor to and attached to the passenger seat bracket. Carolina Metal Masters made the under seat bracket for the JK so I'm sure it'll be just a matter of time before they'll be producing something fro the JL.Is there enough room underneath the passenger/driver's seat to mount it? That would be ideal for me
No personal experience with the Viair but my suggestion would be to look at the technical spec’s of each set up. The main things to look at would be CFM air flow (or something like that) and the duty cycle. So, the consensus here is to either go with the ARB CKMP12 or the Viair 450p? Looks like the ARB is roughly $330 vs $258 for the Viair. Any advantage in the ARB to justify the extra coin?
And, I have no personal experience with the ARB, but I do own a 450P. I honestly don't know what the specs on paper are, but I will tell you this...I took my 33" K02's on my F-150 down to 20 psi then, I aired them up to 60 psi with the 450...it took a grand total of about 5 min per tire. Is the ARB better? I don't know, maybe...is it almost $100 better? Again, I don't know for you, but for me, no. At a glance, the Arb looks like it flow 2.65CFM vs 1.80CFM if I read it right so technically it looks like it flow almost 1.5 time more air which will translate into you spending less time airing up your tires.
Check out the Viair 400p as well. It puts out 2.3 cfm. I’ve been very impressed with the bang for the buck. It’s fairly quiet too.So, the consensus here is to either go with the ARB CKMP12 or the Viair 450p? Looks like the ARB is roughly $330 vs $258 for the Viair.
