I had my non XR 392 regeared to 4.56 which really helped when I installed the 37s. I also installed a set of Fox Performance 2.5 shocks, which I love. I thought the Fox shocks on the normal 392 were too soft for the weight of the vehicle. Maybe the XR shocks solved this issue?
Thank you for measuring! That's about what I expected. Mine is 76" but has a 1" lift from Clayton and 37's.
I was watching Doug Demuro's review of the 392XR on YouTube and he said the XR has an additional 1.5" lift beyond the normal 392. I don't think that is correct. You have a good looking rig!
I have a 392 with 37s and a lift as well. It's awesome but really overbuilt for the way I use it. Climbing into it is a chore for shorter people so I'm debating putting steps on it or trading for an XR. I just don't know how much shorter the XR is compared to mine. Mine is 76" tall measured at...

The spare has...

Did you find that this upgrade reduced the amount of "play" in your steering? My steering wheel has about an inch of play (1/2 inch in each direction) that I would like to eliminate.
