All I can find for the JL on the Linkswell website is an Android-based replacement radio. Does the camera adapter only come with that? Do you have a link to the adapter you ordered?Linkswell makes an adapter to retain the factory backup cam. I just ordered one but they are currently out of stock.
I found this one, almost double the price of the Teyes. Actually it might be the same one.All I can find for the JL on the Linkswell website is an Android-based replacement radio. Does the camera adapter only come with that? Do you have a link to the adapter you ordered?
Teyes has an adapter but ships from China and is kinda pricey at $80 so I'm not very tempted to go for it:

I don't think it's the same one. It does say "Linkswell" is the brand. Too pricey for me. I'm gonna wait for a mainstream unit from Metra or Scosche.I found this one, almost double the price of the Teyes. Actually it might be the same one.

Can you tell me which camera you are talking about. I have an aftermarket camera, but not sure where I am going to mount it.I ordered from adc mobile but I canceled the order because it back ordered. I’m going to try an aftermarket flush mount cam that others are saying will fit in the stock location.
Any update on this? The Maestro is supposed to take care of the aux input but I've yet to try that out.
Ok, I just realized you meant the 3.5mm jack. I meant do you have AUX switches and do they work?Any update on this?
I don't have the factory AUX switches but every other menu option I had in the old Uconnect is still there. AUX switch settings shouldn't be any different.Ok, I just realized you meant the 3.5mm jack. I meant do you have AUX switches and do they work?
Yes, it does connect automatically. I have no issues with it. This unit actually supports multiple bluetooth devices.very interested in the jvc head unit, was wondering does the bluetooth connect automatically and seemless with the jvc? that is one thing that bothers me the most is always having to select bluetooth.
Damn that's really good to know, really hate the u connect. all in all how much would you say you spent?Yes, it does connect automatically. I have no issues with it. This unit actually supports multiple bluetooth devices.
I got all the stuff (in the first post) piecemeal so I don't know exactly. Maybe I should keep better records! Probably in the neighborhood of $500.Damn that's really good to know, really hate the u connect. all in all how much would you say you spent?
