I have a 2020 Wrangler unlimited sport. I put after market headlights on. All I had to do was disconnect the old ones and plug this up. Didn’t have to wire or change anything.

At times will go off them come back on for few seconds then go back off. I learned today I could turn the jeep on and off and they will work fine. It doesn’t do it all the time. 2 days ago it did it then hasn’t done it again until this afternoon. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Were your old headlights LED ? Are your new headlights LED ? Maybe a mismatch.

Sports do not normally have LED lights.

I have a Sport too......I had to reconfigure my headlights and tail lights for LED, with my TAZER mini.

Note: I also, installed LED tail lights.

A Tazer device or JScan app (with gateway cable and Bluetooth OBDII device) will let you make that adjustment, and many more.

Just swapping the lights is only one part of the process, the BCM (body control module) needs to know what type of lights it's trying to control. The two devices mentioned allow you make those changes 'permanent', until the dealer overwrites them and then you just have to do it again. It is simpler than it seems. You can change tire size, gear ratios, hvac settings, low tire pressure warning, etc.

This sub-forum will answer many of your questions.
