So I got them mounted with Toyo MTs in 35x12.5 and I must say, they are HEAVY! The factory wheels with 33" ko2s were 70lbs, these weight in at 120lbs! I didn't weight the tires and wheels separately but toyo's website says they weight 75lbs so that makes the wheel + beadlock ring + bolts weight 45lbs.

So I drilled out another one today, PITA. Had to tap the thread and replaced all bolts with grade 10.9 black bolts, now it is much less likely to broke, and I dig the black on onyx look.

You can see some of the AEV bolts I get out are already bent, that is how soft they are.

I swapped out all my bolts to stainless. Here is the link to what I used. I torque tested them and they didn't start budging till 30 foot pounds. They say serrated on the back but it is pretty much flat. Haven't had any issues. All torque down without a problem.

M8-1.25 x 35mm Flanged Hex Head Bolts Flange Hexagon Screws, Stainless Steel 18-8 (304), Plain Finish, DIN 6921, 15 PCS https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SSRT59...abc_T11C4Y8RSFPGAJGQDB63?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I was going to buy the stainless ones to match but everyone I spoke with said it wasn't needed. Stuck with the stock ones. You can't see them anyways. Also don't forget to use anti-seize

Where did you source the black bolts from and have you had any issues with them rusting? Thanks!

Anyone running the current AEV Borah wheels on a JL? I’ve been told they stick out a little. I don’t hate that but wondering if the version designed for JKs (and its offset) causes any other issues on JLs?

Also, the back up camera does not quite fit through the center of the wheel. Anyone solved for this?

I have a JL with Feb delivery date and wondering if I should wait for the JL version Borahs that are coming out in a couple months.

Any advice is appreciated.
Late to the thread... but just put the Borah's on my Sahara JLU this week. Added NRG 35s w/o a lift. Had to add spacers to protect the control arms. All in all, pretty happy w/ the look
