Driving home from a week in Colorado. If you have Earl, onyx looks amazing in my opinion.Any chance you have any more pics of this thing outdoors? About to buy some Onyx wheels tomorrow and can't quite tell if black is the better choice instead of Onyx
I agree, it looks awesome! THanks!! I do have earl, and its so hard to find pictures of things with this color!Driving home from a week in Colorado. If you have Earl, onyx looks amazing in my opinion.
I don’t know how long you’ve had it, but I get compliments on the color at least 2 to 3 times per week. Yesterday in Colorado I got to compliments on the same day. People love this color and I’m glad that it’s fairly rare at this point.I agree, it looks awesome! THanks!! I do have earl, and its so hard to find pictures of things with this color!
Before/after yellow center wheel caps. The yellow makes them pop.Any chance you have any more pics of this thing outdoors? About to buy some Onyx wheels tomorrow and can't quite tell if black is the better choice instead of Onyx
I also get compliments way more often than I would have expected, which makes me laugh because I definitely don't love it. It just doesn't excite me like the other colors, but it's super unique, so that's pretty sweet. I'm still hoping it grows on me.I don’t know how long you’ve had it, but I get compliments on the color at least 2 to 3 times per week. Yesterday in Colorado I got to compliments on the same day. I forgot about the yellow caps. Had those on my JK. May get them for my JL!Before/after yellow center wheel caps. The yellow makes them pop.

So these are the JK version plus a 1.75" wheel spacer? Did I read that correctly? Looks great. How has everything component wise held up to the added width? Can confirm no issues mounting the stt pro with the AEV beadlock ring. I've not put a ton of miles on it but it or wheeled it really with the coopers yet but will in the next month or so.
Edit: about 4k miles on it with no issues. Including about a 2200 mile round trip to wheel.

Thanks, that's just the stock borah wheel offset there. This is with the spacers. So these are the JK version plus a 1.75" wheel spacer? Did I read that correctly? Looks great. How has everything component wise held up to the added width?
Thanks! I am getting my JK Borah's put on Thursday. Only running a 37x12.50 right now but plan to upgrade in the future. Jeep looks great! Thanks, that's just the stock borah wheel offset there. This is with the spacers.
Only 5k or so, axle is fully built with good parts and I'd be surprised if anything was wearing this early.

Thanks, I say no issues... I'm popping the cover on the rear tonight as the pinion is leaking and I'm guessing the rear end needs a redo. This was due to the fact I used Yukon gears and they were slightly out of spec from install. We actually had to shave the pinion to get it in and it creates a lot of heat so I knew it was on borrowed time. Next gears will NOT be Yukon lol. Thanks! I am getting my JK Borah's put on Thursday. I specifically held out for Spicer gear sets for months as they seem to have a good record so far. The installer even said he wont install Yukon's because of ongoing issues. I've used Yukon in the past on previous Jeeps and never had an issue. Thanks, I say no issues... gonna look good. Borah is hands down my fav wheel asthetically on the JL.Got the JK Borah's installed. This is currently with the BORA 1.25" spacer that I am probably going to remove. I initially ran that to get an idea of what the JK spec would be to check clearances and what not. Just picked the beauty rings up from the powder coater this afternoon so ill wrap that part up in the next few days once the hardware arrives. Went with a satin black ring and gold zinc hardware. Should tie it all together nicely.
