Got the satin black beauty rings on and the gold zinc hardware. Turned out exactly as I wanted. Very happy with the outcome! These photos are still with the BORA 1.25" spacer for anyone wondering.

Regarding the rings: I didn't know that AEV sold them in satin black. I have only seen silver and onyx. Are the black ones only sold in the JK version or something?

You are correct, they do not. I had a local company powder coat them that color. The JK and JL rings are identical and only come in those two colors. I appreciate the compliment! I'm liking the change.

Update to my update to my update to my update:

I think its obvious I have a bad case of ocd. I went from the Borah JK spec, to the JL spec, sold the JK spec, then bought the JK spec again haha.

Decided to leave off the rings and use the AEV nylon bolts and to my surprise looked decent against the white Borah's. This will be my final set up....finally....for now.

Running 37/12.5/17 Stt Pro's but may move to 37/13.5. Still mulling it over as I am going to regear to 4.88 very soon

I plastidipped them since they are easier to touch up
1 can per wheel and 1 can of glossifier for all 5 wheels to give it a little shine

Thanks man! Absolutely, details are listed below. I see I missed another member asking for the same thing. My apologies @EU_Wrangler! I just saw these messages.

I got them from a vendor on eBay that sells quality hardware (linked below). I tried out several different head types and ultimately settled on these. I also tried a set of torx pan head bolts (pictured below). I decided against these and went with the hex flange bolts but these might be a good option for someone doing a lot of rock crawling. I have a full bag of them I didn't end up using if anyone wants them, just let me know.

As for the ones I settled on, the quality has been great so far and each bolt was consistent in quality across all I used. No issues at all and they are 10.9 DIN so no chance of rounding the heads off with hand tools like some have mentioned with the AEV hardware (limited issue I know). The seller got them out to me quickly. I also did zinc washers to keeps things consistent, but you could certainly use the AEV washers. I have included a picture of that with the hex pan head bolts. Link below for the washers are to Fastenal for those wanting them as well.

Note: there are 24 bolts/washers per wheel so purchase accordingly
