~4800lbs loaded up.
Cool, how does the Jeep handle loaded up like that, and did you upgrade the Hitch beyond the class II? I'm pretty interested to see how it handles because I know the engine will pull much more than the Jeep's actual 3500 Lb rating, especially with the 4.10s.

Stock hitch, it's beefy - beefier than the class III on my half ton pickup and exactly the same as the aftermarket "class III" hitches that are out there. It tows fine. Consider it's the exact same drivetrain that's in the Grand Cherokee which is rated 6000lbs with a weight distributing hitch and the exact same 3500lbs without. The Rubi has heavier duty axles and suspension, longer wheelbase, deeper gearing and a ladder frame, so the only reason I can see for the reduced rating is the removable top.

ah cool. I know the same engine in the Ram 1500 is rated at 7200 lbs. While I don't have the tow package on mine, it is good to know that I will still be able to do a decent tow if I need to have a hitch put on, but that is also a very rare occurrence in my case.

I got the White JLUR. Said screw it im adding every option to this beast this time.

so I got all the options except
Smokers package (Bic lighter works fine and I dont smoke in the jeep)
Upgraded wheels (pass. better spent on aftermarket)
color match top ( too much white for my liking)

Love this thing!!!

OK, so here’s my thoughts. I would definitely not purchase the Mopar rims for 875 better use the money for after market, I stayed with you original stock ones on 35’s. I went with white fenders and white top, because branches, birdshit, dirt mud and everything else shows up way worse with black. I just think over time the black will fade and look even worse. I ordered everything except the parking sensors and the smokers package, couldn’t be happier. That Alpine system is new and improved, it’s a must have. But your rig it’s your money have fun shopping.
