Check your VIN with Benny, he may be able to do better too. @AllMoparParts.comHi Matt,
Can you confirm the following Mopar parts are accurate, if I went with Mopar?

I've used eTrailer for my RV needs after a lot of fellow RVers recommended them over some others. They aren't the lowest prices, but they have been rock-solid for information and service.Hi JJ
thanks for the info. Did you use the etrailer products and option?
I will have to watch the Quadratec video again to better understand the wiring routing and difficulty level. Seems to be doable.
I have a mental map of what I'm going to load in the trailer, assuming I can get the kit installed before the move in ~4 weeks. lol
Would you recommend one over the other - eTrailer and Quadratec?I've used eTrailer for my RV needs after a lot of fellow RVers recommended them over some others. They aren't the lowest prices, but they have been rock-solid for information and service.
Quadratec has been good to me so far. I think it'll come down to what's available right now, then pricing based on your timeline.
Late edit, if you want to go Mopar I second contacting Bennie @AllMoparParts.com. He might have a "special deal just for you!" (Something we'd hear overseas all the time.~)
Etrailer is a solid vender. Most of their stuff will be from the standard trailer industry guys: Curt, Drawtite, etc.Would you recommend one over the other - eTrailer and Quadratec?
I will definitely talk to Bennie as well.
That's a good deal to be honest. Tow package and 2x rock sliders for 1000 bucks including tax is a great deal.I had the tow package installed (7-4 pin harness plus hitch receiver) plus my Lod destroyer rock sliders for $1063 tax included at the dealer. Now I did buy my jeep there and owner said I could add whatever at cost. But I think $1000 for just tow package is decent.
eTrailer has been a very solid retailer. I've had fewer dealings with Quadratec but found them good, too.Would you recommend one over the other - eTrailer and Quadratec?

worth it to me. It helped that I coached the owner when I was playing college football. He remembered me and gave me a good deal on the Jeep and extras. That's a good deal to be honest. Tow package and 2x rock sliders for 1000 bucks including tax is a great deal.
Hey Jamie,
Thanks! Do you have a pic or two of your wiring harness routing during/post installation?
Is the heat shrinking a necessity or is it just you wanted it to look cleaner and fit more snug?
No I did not take any pics. The heat shrinking is not necessary. I did it to look cleaner and my OCD for wiring/electronics. Any terminal lugs or connections will get solder from me. How many times do you have to troubleshoot wiring on a trailer/truck when you haul something? I've done it too many times. Now I take the extra time so I don't have to work on it later.Hey Jamie,

I agree with heat shrinking all connections. If you live or travel where it rains or snows frequently, you’ll be glad you sealed the connections. And don’t use those quick connectors. No I did not take any pics. The heat shrinking is not necessary. I did it to look cleaner and my OCD for wiring/electronics.
