Dealer cant help you, you will need a Tazer. At least on my Rubicon they couldn’t fix it. Tazer did!
They have to do the right settings, which is the exterior LED turn signal options. Some dealers just don’t know that.

I went to 2 dealers here and they turned everything on to LED they could, and still no luck. Tazer fixed it.

So I know the DRL wore is missing on the sport. I bought the wire tap quick connects to possibly connect the DRL led to one of the 5 wires on the sport connector. The sport connector has wires specific to the side markers they might be the easiest to try on

I installed the led fenders on sport and the signal light error comes on atleast once a day and the turn signals stop working. Do I have to take it to the dealer to have them program it?
Hey John, I actually just purchased some 2nd hand Rubicon Fenders with the LED lights and I just wired everything up to work perfectly. You definitely have a little wiring to do and you have to buy a couple resistors but this is 100% doable. Still no standard daytime running lights but that was not my intention with this. I just wanted the White LED lights to work just like the "light on, marker light" anf the yellow light to function as the turn signal.

I will try and do a write up in the next couple days.

Oh and I did this without buying the Tazer programmer.

But with the Tazer, no wiring and everything works as it should, including DRL’s. Just saying...

Very true, but only if you have the led wiring harness and then you still have to pay about $300 for the tazer. Don’t get me wrong, sounds like the tazer is really sweet but I feel like my fix is a little more old school hot rod compared to new school programming.

I bought a set of Rubicon fenders without front harnesses because the previous owner needed it for his aftermarket fenders. I bet quite a few people will buy them this way.

And I only have $350 total in the LEDs and the fenders. Plus $15 for a set of LED relays in stock at Autozone. Another $15 for other odds and ends makes this a fix that is pretty inexpensive.

I’d just be worried about your warranty if they see you had wired things up. Now, with the Tazer if they”knew” you were using one they could say the same thing, i guess. What ever works for you is all that matters!

id be much more concerned about warranty with software than adding a resistor on on the fenders that i just bought.

I can't remember what pin it was. I did everything off the colored wires. But I did. I actually hooked both white strips and the side orange LEDs up to that side Orange LED. I had the Diode Dynamics in my sport housings and loved how bright they were so I wanted to have extra light.

And I have my turn signal where it jumps back and forth from the white to the main orange strip when the headlights are on and just the orange flashes when the headlights are off.

Do you know what settings within the TazerJL you have setup to get the white DRLs to work during the day? I installed a set of fenders with LED lights and the correct harness. Everything works good but i cant seem to get the DRL's to come on during the day.
