People who are unhappy always tend to make themselves heard a lot more, then the people who are happy. And yes driving around with the top and doors off is a big bonus...
This is so true. So, as someone happy with their Wrangler allow me to buck trends and give it an enthusiastic +1. Going on year 4 with my '21, 38k miles and every time I climb in and push the button I'm smiling. "What car are we going to take," my wife asks. "The Jeep!" is my answer most of the time. Her '22 Outback XT is a sweet car and great for road trips. But when you can take the Jeep it's fun no matter where you're headed.

OP, glad your experience is a good one. Enjoy the heck outa that thing.

"There's only ONE" "Don't follow me, you won't make it" "it's a jeep thing"

I ordered my 2021 JLU Willys sport (My first Jeep ever) but never understood all the little quotes. I test drove four before I bought mine and really liked them. I fell in love with mine within the first couple days and would just drive it, cause.

My intention was to get something the wife and I could enjoy together with the mutts. I did intend to use it as a jeep and do some off roading. It has never disappointed or let us down or stranded us and we've traveled across America once and are on our second time around now.

I love the jeep character and heritage. "There's only one" because there's only one. I'm a big researcher and I suggest to all wrangler owners who haven't done the research, do it. I believe you will love your jeep even more.

People told me about wrangler's before and after I got mine, I read all the articles and watched videos but I never fully understood it. Why, because after 2 1/2ish years of ownership I feel that I finally have a much better grasp of what those little quotes mean.

Why? Because I have wheeled the living crap out of this thing and recently had the opportunity to do Moab, Colorado, Kansas Rocks to name a few. My point is if you do some even moderate off roading with your jeep you can't help but love it more and have a new appreciation for it. One that most people never have or experience.

In the words of one person on here. Holy crap it should be against the law to have a vehicle that does this much unbelievable crap off road and then drives this good on pavement.

It's absolutely okay to love your Jeep Wrangler. I love mine.

OP, get out there and enjoy.

2023 jeep wrangler 2 door
It’s so great to see a thread that has the fun that I feel every time I get in my ‘23 2 door or even just see her sitting in the garage!!! At 74, that’s what I love! Even my husband, who has Parkinsons and is not terribly active will always agree with me -“Sure, let’s take your jeep!” That fun factor is soooo important to me. This is my first brand new one, but I have never had serious issues with the other 3 I have owned. I have taken them on longer trips and just expect a rougher ride, but such is life in a jeep. I have not regretted any of my purchases for one minute, and we do take really good care of them. Bring on the fun!

I just found out the cargo side windows on the 2024s can be removed without pulling the whole top. Now I'm so jealous my 2023 can't do that.
You need to have the SOT for that. I have a 2024 with hard top. You can't remove the cargo windows on mine.

My 2006 Wrangler has just shy of 70k miles, and I only have two complaints:

1. the passenger window got hit by a rock and broke, but it also broke the door latch mechanism
2. the air conditioning stopped working

Now, I don't think this is the fault of Jeep because 1. was an accident, and 2. I pin on the guy at Best Buy who installed my alarm since apparently the leak is in the dash.

I decided to buy a 2024 4xe with a sky top instead of continuing to fight with these issues. 2006 Jeep is going to be well cared for by one of the service guys at my dealer who is very excited to be able to own it after drooling over it every time I brought it in.

Back in the early aughts when I worked at the Smithsonian, at the neighboring Museum of American History they had a WW2 display. There was a Jeep there, and it looked almost exactly like the 1995 Wrangler I had at the time. I had my 2006 Wrangler painted because I didn't like its khaki color - color matched to a 1936 Willys Michigan Yellow swatch.

And this is why my 2024 is a Willys, no other reason than the history.

I never really cared for the Wranglers. Bought/ordered our first Jeep Wrangler in MY22 for my wife. Fell in love with it. It turned into my daily driver. Ordered a MY24 last year for my wife. We are a very happy two Jeep Wrangler Rubicon family.

Thumbs up on your choice of wife and football team

Very happy with the SOT 392, my first new vehicle in 26 years. Don’t drive it a whole lot (4,800 miles in 14 months) but sure is fun when I do.

Oh, well that's dumb. I thought it was a cool feature.

OK so I've owned my jeep now for just about 2 months and the more I own it, learn about it, and drive it the more I like it. Ive owned many vehicles, but this is literally the exact opposite in terms of the experience.

With this jeep I actually sort of regretted buying it at first. I thought I got suckered into the styling over function or utility. Started looking at resale value and wanting a ridgeline which was my other consideration at the time. This was in the first 2 weeks of ownership.

This is my second new vehicle. I bought the first one well over a decade ago and was on that forum too at the time - it was basically nothing but posts coping with the problems. I still own it. Here though most of the problems are not just almost celebrated (its a jeep thing, put a duck on it and keep driving) but people actually try to help solve them....so they aren't jeep things? whatever. A whole different approach and attitude is my point and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate this personally.

I love my jeep.
Are you getting good smiles per gallon?

Agreed, and why I got the willys. I served in the Army in the 80s and I wanted pay homage to jeeps and the military.

So mine is sarge green with the 1941 decal on the hood.

There are Jeep people and there are folks who are NOT. Jeep people put up with lousy ride quality, poor on road handling, lousy fuel economy, gross overpricing and questionable build quality while bouncing around with a stupid smile on their faces, while non Jeep folks are asking themselves why anyone would tolerate these glaring faults on any NEW vehicle, much less one that costs that kind of money😏. Welcome to Jeep.

Bought a used 21 JLURD with 13k miles in March. And it was a buyback. Makes me smile every day. If I drive the truck that day, it makes me smile when I move the jeep, and I smile when I get home and move it again. I love everything about it.
